Christopher Weait at Kammermusik Workshop, Santa Fe, Feb 19-21

Kammermusik Workshops is presenting the Winter Dectets Workshop, Friday, February 19th to Sunday, February 21st, in Santa Fe, NM.

The 2010 Winter Workshop provides wind players the opportunity for artistic and personal growth in a friendly, supportive, non-competitive atmosphere where all participants can improve their skills and ensemble playing. Enjoy the rare opportunity to work on and perform sometimes lesser-known but phenomenal works (or arrangements) which offer such logistical challenges to play back home! The coaches will be Douglas Dunston, Laura Dwyer, Tom O'Connor and Christopher Weait.

• Françaix’s dixtuor Les Malheurs de Sophie
• Caplet’s Suite Persane
• Albeniz’s Tango
• Lyadov’s Russian Folk Songs
• Milhaud’s Symphonie No. 5 (dixtuor)
