Mixed Quartets to Septets

3 movements explore the blues. Written for Professor Katherine Borst Jones and The Ohio State University Flute Troupe. Only flutes are needed. Will be performed by the dedicatees at the 2008 National Flute Association meeting.

Cheerful settings of ‘Lazy Mary Will You Get Up?’, ‘Polly Put the Kettle On’, ‘This Old Man’, ‘London Bridge’ ‘Hickory, Dickory Dock’ and ‘Row, Row, Row Your Boat’. Ideal for school & senior concerts. For Fl, Ob, Cl, Bn. A part is provided so a bass clarinet can substitue for the bassoon. Also for double reed quartet [0512] but instrumental parts are not interchangeable.

A march in 18th century style with some surprising use of traditional rhythms. For: 2Cl, Bn, 2Hn. Also available for woodwind quintet [7206B]
